Universal Rock School - Music Lessons

The new studio is great! As an adult student, I searched throughout the county looking for a school that could fit my needs. Universal Rock School does just that! I always look forward to each of my cello lessons with Toni. She is a wonderful teacher and musician. Toni will help guide you toward accomplishing and surpassing your musical goals. I would highly recommend this studio for any age student. Don’t be afraid to embark on a new passion at any age!

I sent my 7 year old son here because he began showing interest in musical arts. I had no prior experience with music only sports. My son Revan absolutely loves it! He's learning how to play piano, guitar, and the upright bass! I had no idea he had these kind of talents. He loves going to lessons with Miss Toni and Mr Steve! They are so good with kids of all ages and I can't wait to see him keep progressing in his talents. 10 out of 10! He loves taking after school lessons and they even have summer camps! This school is a blessing!

I highly recommend Universal Rock School! My kids have been taking private weekly lessons (guitar and violin) starting at ages 6 and 8, and I am truly impressed with how much they have learned so far. And best of all, they enjoy their lessons and look forward to going each week! Their teacher is patient and thoughtful, and explains musical concepts in a way that the kids easily absorb and understand. Parent-teacher communication has been excellent, too. Universal Rock Schools offers an impressive number of instruments to choose from (including voice lessons) for kids and adults. And older kids can even learn to play together in a rock band. There are opportunities for students to participate in recitals, concerts, specialized summer camps, and fun events like local "battle of the bands" competitions - which all of the students and their families are invited to attend, adding a fun sense of community, and inspiration for the younger kids who are still beginners! The school is conveniently located, quick and easy to get to from US 19 or Belcher Rd. The facility is clean and comfortable and there is a large lobby with a TV, coloring table, books, and lots of comfy chairs for parents or siblings to wait during lessons. I couldn't imagine a better place for my kids to learn music!

My 9 and 7 year olds have been studying at Universal Rock School for about a year. They are homeschooled children and not accustomed to having a teacher but Toni has patiently guided them to both be extraordinarily adept at their chosen instruments. She understands how to communicate with them as people and really relates to them. She takes an active interest in the things they want to talk about but knows how to gently redirect them to get them back on target for their lessons. I believe that their progression through their lessons has been at a great pace for their ages. They are assigned homework and reminded that if they don't practice daily they will not progress the way they want to. Universal Rock School uses a medal system to give the students a measurable path to success and my kids find this very rewarding, my 7 year old son wants to be the youngest Grand Master of guitar! I would highly recommend Universal Rock School to anyone looking to learn a musical instrument.
